Get to Know Dr. Henson

Dr. Henson specializes in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. This subspecialty of Ophthalmology focuses on both cosmetic and functional problems of the eyelids, eyebrows, lacrimal system and orbit. She performs a variety of surgeries to correct drooping upper eyelids, bags under the eyes, excessive tearing and eye socket problems. In addition, Dr. Henson is available for consultation at the new Face and Eye Aesthetic Center for patients interested in cosmetic facial rejuvenation. She offers a variety of non-surgical treatments, including Botox. Dr. Henson is a graduate of Miami University and received her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Ophthalmology and fellowship in pediatric eye diseases at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. Dr. Henson then returned to Cincinnati to complete her fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Cincinnati Eye Institute. She joined CEI in 2011.
