Dr. Reid is a Board-Certified Comprehensive Ophthalmologist and Cataract Surgeon. He has been on the Voluntary Faculty of the University of Cincinnati Department of Ophthalmology since shortly after arriving in Cincinnati in 1980. Prior to moving to Cincinnati, he practiced in Richmond Virginia, where he was on the Voluntary Faculty of the Medical College of Virginia (now Virginia Commonwealth University).

Dr. Reid’s medical education included externships in Internal Medicine at the Seattle Veterans Administration Hospital and at Mound Bayou Community Hospital, in Mound Bayou Mississippi. During his Ophthalmology Residency, Dr. Reid participated in a medical mission to Mercy Hospital in Abak, Cross River State, Nigeria.

Dr. Reid’s outside interests include Photography and International Travel. He and his wife have witnessed total solar eclipses in Kenya (Lake Turkana) and on Belitung Island, Indonesia.
